HARKIN (Sligo and formerly of Treenadullagh, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim) - August 16, 2005 (peacefully), after a long illness bravely borne, in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Hazelwood Unit, St John's Hospital, Sligo, Michael, Magheraboy Road, Sligo, beloved husband of Nano and dear father of Michael, Colette, Killian, Conleth, Muireann, Jarlath and late Ian, and brother of Paddy, Kevie and the late Joe, Jim, Peggy and Maureen; sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Noel (Kennedy), daughters-in-law Michele, Maura and Sharon, grandchildren Conor, Neasa, Nollaig, Barry, Ellen, Richard, Marc, Jean, Ruth, Órla, Colin, Ciara, Ian-Michael and Noelle, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in- law Fr. P.J., Brendan and Colm, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at his home from 2 o'clock today (Wednesday). Removal from his home at 7 o'clock tomorrow (Thursday) evening to Sligo Cathedral. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 Noon on Friday. Funeral to Sligo Cemetery afterwards. Family flowers please. Donations in lieu if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at the Hazelwood Unit, St John's Hospital, Sligo.
