GERAGHTY, Mairead (née Cashin) (Perrystown and previously of Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford) December 4, 2019; peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital. Much missed after fifty-nine years of marriage by her loving husband Tom, her children Tom, Ann, Roisin, John and Colm, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her beloved grandchildren Rory Fearghal, Sam, Thomas, Colm, Cormac, Cara, Lily and Darragh, her surviving sisters Maura & Teresa, brother Ned, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village today (Friday) from 5 o’clock to 8 o’clock, with family in attendance. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.30 o’clock in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village and afterwards to Newlands Cross Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to St. Vincent De Paul. May she Rest in Peace
GERAGHTY - Mairead (née Cashin), (Perrystown, Dublin). On her First Anniversary, Mairead is sadly missed by her husband, Tom, her children, grandchildren and surviving siblings. The family would like to acknowledge and to record appreciation for all the love, kindness and comfort offered by our families, friends, colleagues and neighbours and to record our thanks to Mairead’s friends for all the fun that they gave her. Special thanks to the members of Dublin Fire Brigade, past and present, for the funeral guard of honour; to the wonderful choir and amazing musicians for uplifting the funeral ceremony and to all who attended at the funeral home and/or at the funeral, with special appreciation from Tom for all the trade unionists who showed up to pay their respects. We send particular thanks to all who have kept in touch with Tom throughout these recent difficult times. Mairead would have appreciated your support. We remember her with love, songs and flowers.
