BARRETT, Fr. Thomas (Tommy), (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare, Ogoja Diocese (Nigeria), Kitui Diocese (Kenya) and Grenada (West Indies), March 6, 2020, peacefully in the Care Unit at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan. Sadly missed by his brothers Jim (Kill) and Pádraig (Lisdoonvarna), by his sister-in-law Ann, by his cousin Paddy Byrne, by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand- nephews, his relatives and friends and by his Society family. Reposing in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, tomorrow (Sunday) from 3pm to 5pm, with prayers at 5.30 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12.00 noon followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.

I had the pleasure of being taught stained glass by Fr Tommy here in Grenada. What a wonderful and caring man with a lovely sense of humour. We missed him badly when he left Grenada. May he be welcomed into heaven into the arms of Jesus.
