MEEHAN, Gerard (Donnycarney, Dublin 9 and lately of Elm Green Nursing Home) - July 4, 2015 (peacefully) in the special care of the staff in Connolly Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Bernadine and devoted father to Martin, Una, Deirdre, Gerard and Mark. Gerard will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Richard and Francie, daughters-in-law Phil, Susan and Caroline, grandchildren Fergal, Ciaran, Conal, Lorcan, Ciara, Luke, Ollie and Eve, brothers Pat and Brendan, sisters-in-law Patricia, Frances and Alice, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing this Monday afternoon in his family home from 2pm until 4pm with removal this evening to the Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney arriving at 6 o`clock. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday morning at 11 o`clock followed immediately thereafter by burial in Old Balgriffin Cemetery. A special thanks to all the staff in Elm Green Nursing Home who cared for Gerard during his time there.
