DOYLE - Gerry (Gerard) Dundrum, Dublin - January 25, 2026.

Emeritus Professor of Science UCD passed peacefully, in the exceptional care and kindness of the team in the Blackrock Hospice, Blackrock Co. Dublin. Much loved and devoted husband of Eithne and adored father of Elaine, Gillian and Paul. Very sadly missed by his loving family; son-in-law Fran, daughter-in-law Laura, grandchildren Ciara, Rachel, Anna, and Saskia, brothers Hilary, John, and Dominic, sisters-in-law Marion, Ann, Eileen, Marian and Gertie, brother-in-law Sam, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and loyal friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on tomorrow evening (Thursday), (January 29) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning (January 30) to the Victorian Chapel in Mount Jerome Harolds Cross for a service to celebrate Gerrys life at 10am. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice.
