BARDON, Joe (late of Terenure and Abbeyleix) - April 18, 2008, peacefully, at home with his family. Much loved and loyal husband of Bernadette (Duffy), devoted and loving father of Ciara, Fiona and Elaine, brother of Mary (Kinsella, Stillorgan), Anne (McEvoy, Charleville) and Margaret (Roberts, Wales), Anthony (Rathfarnham), James (Leixlip) and Christopher (Abbeyleix). Favourite uncle of many nephews and nieces. Will be deeply missed by his extended family and a large circle of friends. Reposing at his residence. Waked at his home. Removal on Sunday from his residence to St Joseph's Church, Terenure for 2.30 p.m. Mass. Burial on Monday after Requiem Mass at 12 Noon in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross.
BARDON, Joe (Terenure and Abbeyleix), 18th April 2008 - On this the First Anniversary of Joe's passing, Bernadette, Ciara, Fiona and Elaine, together with the Bardon and Duffy families, wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported and cared for us during Joe's illness and who continue to do so. We very much appreciated the attendances at Terenure and Dunfanaghy, Mass cards, letters, visits and phone calls. Special thanks to Dr. Tony Peacock, GP, Terenure; Dr. Finbarr O'Connell, Consultant, St. James's Hospital; the Palliative Care Team, Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin and Fr. Gabriel Kinahan O.F.M. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Joe's First Anniversary Mass will be held in Dunfanaghy this (Saturday) evening at 7 o'clockockock.
BARDON (Joe) (Fourth Anniversary, April 18, 2008) - Always loved. Missed every day. Bernadette, Ciara, Fiona and Elaine thank the Bardons, Duffys and all our friends for your continued support.
