THORNTON, Dr. Jeanne (née Keane) (Bawnmore, Kanturk, Co. Cork, late of Oakland Drive, Greystones, Limerick) Formerly of HSE Dentistry North Cork, Trinity College and Crescent Comprehensive - June 23, 2019, suddenly. Beloved wife of Dr. Mike Thornton, devoted Mum to Amelia, Georgina and Eliza. Predeceased by her Dad Bob and younger brother Eamonn. Sadly missed by her loving Mum Jean, her brothers Robert and Mike, her sisters Miriam and Annette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended Thornton and Keane families and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Limerick today (Wednesday) from 3.30pm to 5.00pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 1.00pm with burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

My sweet cousin, you were like a sister to me and also my dear friend. I can’t believe I’ll never see you again. May your pain be gone. I love you. Watch over your girls and Micheal. They will miss you most.
