MacGUIGAN John (Letteree, Sleaveen, Roscommon) (Former President of the Badminton Union of Ireland and current Trustee of Roscommon Golf Club) January 23, 2019 (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff at Roscommon University Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and much loved dad to Mark and Ruth. He will be very sadly missed by his family, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Jessica, granddaughters Niamh, Leah, Ally, Mhairí and Sína, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many good friends. May John rest in peace. Reposing at Smyth's Funeral Home, Roscommon tomorrow (Friday) from 4.00 o'c until 6.00 o'c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday (January 26) at 11.00 o'clock Burial afterwards in St Coman's Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to the Roscommon/Mayo Hospice Foundation.
