MADIGAN, Joseph (Joe) ex-Detective Inspector, SDU, Harcourt Square, Dublin 2 (Waterloo Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly of Scribblestown, Co. Dublin) - February 23, 2021 (unexpectedly) in the excellent care of all the staff at St. James’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Dympna, loving father of Niamh, Claire and now reunited with his beloved son John, son of the late Eoin and Gretta and brother of the late Matthew. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren James, Peter, Grace, Ailsa and Callum, siblings, son-in-law Alan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and Garda colleagues. In accordance with government guidelines a private funeral will take place, but may be viewed online on Friday, February 26, at 11:30am at http://www.churchservices.tv/mountargus. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral Mass may leave a message of condolence at www.rip.ie. May he rest in peace
