Best of the best

Hello,

I just discovered this page today and wanted to take the opportunity to wish all of Don's family well.

I had to the pleasure of knowing and working with Don for many years in Ryanair.

I can say without hesitation, that Don was the most genuine and warm man I have ever met.I worked in the Parts Stores and when I saw that Don was going to cross shifts with me,my whole mood would lift immediately.

I think of Don often and ithe memories always bring a smile to my face, and a tinge of sadness to my heart, that he is gone.RIP Don.

Rgds

Alan Kennedy

What a Great Man

To Dons Wife and Family,My name is Paul Lavelle...im working in Dubai and just heard today of Dons passing from a friend.I worked with Don in Dublin with Ryanair...and Don was the foreman.Myself and Don had such fun together even while working...he could be so funny and had such a great sense of humour.A favourite of his was when myself and Don had put on the full face oxygen masks to test the functions of mic etc...and Don loved me to say the old English accents through the headset..Tally ho,Tally ho...I say old chap I think we have a hydraulic problem...we would continue for a few minutes...in these conversations and it was like a mini pantomine ...He always had time for a Joke and would make me laugh with his big warm smile...what a lovely man...and he always talked of how much he loved his family..I will sure never forget him.I also was a qualified radio officer...old Ro,s never die they only fade away ..they say.Regards Paul
