OWEN - Brian J. (Malahide and Youghal), (November 27, 2020).

As we remember Brian on his First Anniversary, Nora, Vincent, Richard and Edward wish to thank all who sent letters and cards of sympathy, Mass Cards, flowers, RIP messages, telephone calls, emails and text messages on the loss of Brian. We thank our extended family, friends and neighbours and colleagues for all their support and love which helped us so much through this difficult time. We thank Fr. Kevin Moore and Canon Aisling Shine and the bereavement group of St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide for their caring services before and after the funeral. A special warm thanks to Naoise Stuart Kelly, Jillian Saunders and Aoife Dhornain for the beautiful singing and music during the funeral and to the Forget-me-Nots choir volunteers who sang outside the church. We will be forever grateful to Rita Gallaher and the staff of Newpark Care Centre who cared for Brian in his last two years. We know because of Covid many could not attend Brian’s funeral but we thank all those who watched it online. We express our appreciation to Kirwans Undertakers who looked after all the arrangements so well. As it is not possible to contact everyone individually, please accept this notice as a heartfelt thank you. Brian will be remembered at Mass on the 28th November (Sunday) in Malahide and you will all be in our thoughts and prayers on that day.
