BROPHY Ann Philomena, Malahide and Desart Co. Kilkenny, (October 30, 2011) - Phil's cousins would like to thank all her friends and neighbours who helped her in many ways over the last year of her life. We would like to thank those with whom she shared so much during a life lived to the full - among them her colleagues in Aer Lingus, her friends in Aer Lingus Bowling, the Post-Polio Association and the table quizzes; also her many friends abroad including her penpals with whom she corresponded for 50 years. She loved life and nothing daunted her. We are grateful to the doctors and nurses in the Bon Secours Hospital in Glasnevin who enabled her to spend her last months as comfortably as possible and to those in Beaumont who treated her throughout the years. We thank you for your support and many expressions of sympathy at the time of her funeral. Her friends in Kilkenny have arranged a memorial Mass for Phil at 7.30pm on Saturday January 7, 2012 in Cuffesgrange Church.
