On the first Anniversary of John's death, August 29, his wife Liz and children, Shane, Laura and Rory along with their partners would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sudden loss of John. To those who travelled long

distances, called to the house, attended Johns funeral we are most grateful. To Bill Kelly (Kellys Hotel) and staff whose care at such a difficult time will always be remembered. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Jim Mulherin OSMPP and the

Funeral team of Church of the Divine Word, the undertakers and Killian Grumley Traynor, Fergal Curtis and Margaret Sharkey whose beautiful music and singing brought

great comfort, your care, kindness and efforts ensured that Johns funeral Mass was both personal and deeply moving. We are also ever grateful to Johns many friends from St.Marys College and the 1969 SCT for their support and for sharing in our sorrow. The cards, letters, RIP.ie messages and flowers sent in his honour and the many kind conversations throughout the past year have meant so much to us. We were especially touched by the attendance at his removal by his beloved EGC choir members, The Swallows golf society, Kellys Hotel Rosslare and colleagues in the Survey world, OSI, Bolton St., Leica AG., and many customers. A Mass will be offered for the intentions

of all.

We hold you close within our hearts

and there you shall remain.
