CONNOLLY - Kevin, Lepanto, Stillorgan Park, Blackrock. On his first anniversary (died November 3, 2022) we, Kevin's children Aidan, Maura and Angela (Lombard), would like to acknowledge and thank Kate, Paul and Shane and our extended family and friends for helping us during this first year of our bereavement since the death of our beloved father, Kevin. Your unwavering support during the years of our father's illness since the death of our mother, Deirdre (August 31, 2018) gave us strength. We would like, in particular, to recognise the love shown by Kevin's brother, Paddy and his wife Joan over the last number of years and we share their loss. The loyal friendship of Kevin's friends and former colleagues from ESB (especially our parents' holiday group) over the last number of years meant a lot to our family. We thank Kevin's beloved cousins for your friendship to him all his life. To all those who expressed condolences with us, were with us as Kevin lay in repose in our former family home (now Angela's home), attended the funeral in person and online we send our sincere thanks. We valued the many letters, messages and online condolences and appreciated you sharing your memories of Kevin. We thank the remarkable nurses and carers in St. Joseph's, Shankill who cared for Kevin during the final months of his illness. Thank you to Fr. Anthony Gaughan and the priests of the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue for such a meaningful celebration of Kevin's life. The funeral was enhanced by the beautiful voice of Antoinette Heery, our family friend. The team at Carnegies, Monkstown supported us throughout and ensured the funeral arrangements were seamless. We thank you all and express our appreciation for all that you have done during our bereavement. Kevin is remembered for his sense of humour, intelligence, generosity of spirit and love for his family.
