BOYLAN, (née Gilroy), Skerries Co. Dublin - August 21, 2019, (peacefully) at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her loving family, Carol, wife of the late Noel and mother of the late Fr. David. Sadly missed by her son Brian and her daughter Orla, sister Brídín (Gilroy), grandchildren Sophi Joan and Erica De, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends. Rest In Peace. Reposing at her residence tomorrow (Friday) from 4pm to 8pm, removal Saturday to St. Patrick's Church, Skerries arriving for 10am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Ardla cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Donation box at Church. All enquiries to Lannon's funeral directors 01-8491277.
BOYLAN Carol (Skerries, Co. Dublin) August 21, 2019. Remembered with love by her daughter Orla, son Brian and grandaughters Sophi and Erica, her sister Bridin Gilroy and extended family, friends and neighbours. We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who helped and supported us in so many ways throughout that difficult time by their attendance at Carol's wake and funeral and by so many Mass cards, letters and other expressions of sympathy. We thank in particular all who contributed to her funeral mass in St. Patrick's Church, Skerries including the celebrant Reverend Desmond Doyle, Very Reverend Msgr. Dan O'Connor, the Parish Priest, Very Reverend Melvyn Mullins, the Most Reverend Fintan Gavin, Bishop of Cork and Ross and all the concelebrants. Special thanks to Mary Brennan and Cliona McDonagh for organising and directing the choir with organist Ronan McDonagh and soloists Daire Halpin and Andrew Gavin whose music so enhanced the liturgy. We also acknowledge with deep gratitude the care that Carol received throughout her illness from Seaholm Surgery, Skerries, the staffs of Beaumont Hospital and St. Francis Hospice Blanchardstown and the kind and professional care of Lannon's Funeral Directors in Skerries. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. Carol was greatly loved and is greatly missed. She will live on in our hearts. May she Rest in Peace.
