PHELAN - Jim (Listerlin, Mullinavat, Co Kilkenny) - February 24, 2022, after a short illness borne with fortitude and dignity, beloved husband of the late Una and loving father of Sara, Gill and Orpha (and his infant son, Peter, who pre-deceased him, 1967), loving brother of Bernie, and the late Nicky, Maura and Pauline who predeceased him, loving grandfather to Hugo, Abel and Clevan and father-in-law to Tom (Farmer), Cathal (Gilmartin) and Phil (Williams); deeply regretted by all his family, his many nieces and nephews, and his wonderful friends and neighbours; Rest in Peace; reposing at Doyles Funeral Home, Rosbercon from 15:00 to 18:00 today (Saturday) and thereafter travelling to his home in Listerlin (house private), with removal from his home tomorrow (Sunday) for Requiem Mass in St Aidan’s Church, Tullogher at 12:00, with burial afterwards at The Church of the Assumption, Rosbercon. Family flowers only, donations in lieu (if desired) to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
