We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mary's close friends, whose support and companionship were a constant source of comfort and joy; to the medical and nursing staff at The Galway Clinic who cared for Mary with skill and compassion in her precious last days and to Dr. Ciaran McLaughlin who was always there for her in Clifden. We would particularly like to thank our wonderful relatives and friends, in particular Sheila Griffin and her partner Rod who provided welcoming support at Sea Mist and to John Brendan Mannion who helped us to bring Mary home. A special thanks to those who travelled from around Ireland and further afield to attend Mary's wake and funeral; to those who sent Mass cards, letters, flowers and other tributes; to the guard of honour from Connemara Golf Club and to everyone who contributed to making the Mass and Cremation such beautiful services, in particular Fr. Conan O'Connell and Fr. James Ronayne. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this notice as our appreciation of your thoughtfulness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. RIP. Always in our hearts.
