McKENNA, Sallyhall, 2 Mullaghdun, Monaghan formerly Dernamuck, Emyvale, Co Monaghan - September 26, 2014 peacefully after a short illness at The Beacon hospital Dublin. William (Willie), former chairman of Monaghan CoCo and former National Treasurer of L.A.M.A. RIP. Deeply regretted by loving wife Nancy (nee Kirby), brother Sean (Dundalk), sisters Mary O'Connell (Cork) and Eilean Kerr (Castleblayney) and extended wide circle of family and friends. Reposing at his late residence until removal tomorrow evening (Sunday) at 6.15pm to arrive at St. Macartans Cathedral, Monaghan for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am followed by burial at The Church of the Holy Family, Ballyoisin, Emyvale, Co Monaghan.

He really was a great Ambassador for Monaghan and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. We appreciated all that he did for us in ensuring that our visits with our tours were top notch. We shall miss him.
