RIORDAN, Dr. Desmond, January 6 - On this his First Anniversary, Nano and family Elaine, Desmond, Colin and sisters Joy and Susie Byrne, wish to express their gratitude to all those who supported Des throughout his illness. He received exemplary care from his GPs at Castleknock Medical Centre, his colleagues at Beaumont Hospital, and from the staff of the A&E and I.C.U departments at Connolly Hospital. We would like to thank Fr. Leonard Moloney SJ for celebrating the funeral Mass and for his friendship, help and support. We would also like to thank Castleknock Parish, the concelebrants, Fr. Denis O'Connor CSsR, Fr. Noel O'Meara, Fr. Pat Guckian and Fr. Derek Cassidy (deceased), John and colleagues at Kirwan Funeral Directors. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances, called to the house and attended the funeral Mass and to those who sent thoughtful sympathy cards and letters.
