CURRAN, Bob (Robert), (Dalkey, Co. Dublin, formerly Department of Finance) August 27, 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of Saint Joseph’s Nursing Home, Shankill, predeceased by his beloved wife Mary and his brother Raymond. Deeply regretted by his loving family Fiona, Louise, Niall and Claire, daughter-in-law Catherine, sons-in-law Nico and Duncan, grandchildren Esteban, Killian, Seán, David, Patrick, Lucy, Andy and Robert , his brother Jack, sister Joan, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and all in the Royal Irish Yacht Club. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing (tomorrow) Thursday in Saint Joseph’s, Crinken Lane, Shankill from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Friday to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey arriving for 11.30am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Saint Joseph’s Nursing Home, Shankill.

My condolences to all who share this deeply felt loss. I greatly admired Bob, for whom I crewed in 'Jill' long ago: a dynamic man, fun on shore and exciting on water - a father figure never forgotten across time and an ocean. Gerry Connolly
