SWEENEY - Paul (late of Sandymount and Dungloe). Paul’s wife Catherine, children Noelle, John and Conor want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and support we have received since Paul’s death. While COVID restrictions did not afford many people the opportunity to pay their respects in person, we are most grateful for the support given around the funeral time from close friends and extended family members, for the beautiful cards, letters, phone calls, texts and on-line messages we received. Noelle, John and Conor would like to thank Paul and Catherine’s friends for the support they gave to their mum during the last year. A word of thanks to Fr. Brian Quinn who helped us to make Paul’s funeral mass a personal occasion. Thanks to the medical staff in Letterkenny Hospital who took such good care of Paul and were so kind to us. Thanks to funeral director Shaun McGlynn, Dungloe, for his professional and kind support. We are grateful also to the staff in the Maghery Ionad for looking after our funeral guests so well. Thanks to the local community in Donegal who lined the road to bid farewell to Paul, and to those who stood outside the church. Paul is missed every day and lovingly remembered.
