GUCKIAN, Frances (late Terenure, Dublin 6W and Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim (died July 3, 2008) - The family of the late Frances Guckian wish to express our sincere gratitude for the enormous support we received from our neighbours, relatives and friends on the recent sad loss of our dear sister. We wish to thank most sincerely those who attended the removal and funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy, floral tributes and especially all those who travelled long distances. Thank you to Fr Karl Fortune, for his comforting tributes to Frances and to Eugene Ginty for providing the magnificent singing. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of St Vincent's University Hospital, the Palliative care team in St Vincent's Private Hospital and the Oncology Department of the Mater Private Hospital for their kindness and compassion shown in their care of Frances. A special word of thanks to Mr Padraig Walshe, President, IFA, Mr Michael Berkery, CEO, IFA, her close friends and work colleagues, especially Catherine Smyth, for the love, support and kindness shown to us during her illness and at the time of her death. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
