WALSHE, Professor John Joseph (Joe) MD. PhD. (late of Beaumont Hospital and formerly of Malahide, USA and Listowel Co. Kerry) June 3, 2021 (peacefully) at Bons Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. Beloved son of the late Dr. Thomas (Toddy) and Siobhán Walshe. Predeceased by his brothers Pádraig and Tom and sister-in-law Bridgette (Bridge). Deeply missed by his loving partner Geraldine, his sister Mary, Máire, sister-in-law Gráinne, nieces Tracy and Karen and her husband Charlie and son Oliver, a wide circle of relatives, medical colleagues and dear friends. In accordance with government guidance a private Requiem Mass will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.00 am. which may be viewed on www.malahideparish.ie.Those unable to attend the funeral due to current public health restrictions may leave a personal message at www.fanagans.ie/condolence or on www.irishtimes.com A special note of appreciation to Prof. Frank Murray and Prof. Liam Grogan and the dedicated nursing and care staff at Bons Secours Hospital for their extraordinarily generous, skilled and compassionate care of Joe.
