Maura (née Costello) Sandymount, Dublin 4, late of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. Peacefully, on Friday, 14th November 2025, in the loving care of the staff of St. Vincents University Hospital. Beloved wife of Eamon and mother of Mary, Angela, Paul and John. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, children, sister-in-law Patsy, son-in-law Ronnie, daughters-in-law Belinda and Heidi, her cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and many friends. Maura is predeceased by her parents, sister Sr. Sheila (Sisters of Mercy), and brothers Sean, Bro. Hilary (Eamon) (Marist Brothers) and Fr. Liam OFM. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Andrews Ward and the Palliative Medicine team in St. Vincents. Reposing today (Monday), 17th November from 5pm to 7pm in Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover). Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday), 18th November, at 10am in St. Marys Star of the Sea, Sandymount, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only.
