DUNGAN - Aoife (née Carney), (Ballyroan, Dublin 16). On the First Anniversary of Aoife’s death the Dungan and Carney families wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on her death. We appreciate greatly all the touching messages, cards, phone calls and flowers received. We would especially like to thank the wonderful neighbours of Ballyroan, who lined the roads and walked behind the hearse to the church in Ballyroan, and stood outside the church during the Funeral Mass. We thank Father Michael Murtagh and the Parish team in Ballyroan church and the organist Ann McNulty and soloist Elizabeth Woods for the beautiful music during the Mass. Special mention must be made of Aoife’s many colleagues and friends in UCD who sent their condolences as well as her local and old Sancta Maria school friends. We are grateful also to those in St. Gerards School in Bray for their many messages of sympathy. We are grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU unit in the Beacon Hospital for their attention to Aoife. We thank Fanagans Funeral Directors for their excellent handling of the funeral arrangements at Ballyroan and the Victorian Chapel in Mount Jerome. We also thank all those who sent their condolences through Rip.ie. As it would not be possible to contact everyone individually, The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Aoife, you are still dearly loved, greatly missed, and will be forever in our hearts. Adrian, Aonghus, Marie and Audrey Dungan and John, Brid, Sheila, John Jnr and Aonghus Carney.
