BRODERICK,, Simon (Donnybrook, formerly of Freemount, Co. Cork) – passed away peacefully on 22nd March, surrounded by his loving family and in the expert care of the dedicated staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of Eileen and devoted father to James and Rob. Adored grandfather of Kate, Jessica, and Harriet. Predeceased by his brother Seamus. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Emma, sisters Ann, Rita, Kay, Eileen and Mary, and his brothers Tim, Bart and John, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, a wide circle of friends – including his golfing companions and his neighbours, whose friendship meant so much. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Unit 6, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover), tomorrow Wednesday, 26th March from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Requiem Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, D04 HW82, on Thursday, 27th March at 12 noon, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road, D18 X22C.
