ALEXANDER (née MacDougall) Alys, (late of St Thomas' Road, Mount Merrion and Rostrevor Road, Rathgar) - February 9, 2017 (peacefully) in the very special care of Brabazon House. Beloved wife of the late Canon Francis Robert Alexander and loving mother of the late Susan. Sadly missed by her loving sons John, Stephen and Patrick, her son-in-law Finlay, daughters-in-law Evelyn, Martina and Elaine, her grandchildren; Rebekah, Sarah, Daniel, Naomi, Joanne, Steuart, Eleanor, Catherine, Jean, John, Michael and Stephen, her great-grandchildren; Sebastian, Lucia, Felix, Arthur, Mabel and her extended family and friends. Reposing at her Rathgar residence from 5.00pm this Wednesday (February 15). Funeral Service on Thursday (February 16) morning at 11.00am in St. Maelruain's Church, Main Street, Tallaght followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
