SHEERIN (née Tighe) Carmel (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Strokestown, Co. Roscommon) - Kevin, Sinead and Emmet together with Carmel's brothers James, Tony and Eamon, sisters Mary and Irene, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family wish to most sincerely thank our friends, colleagues and neighbours for their wonderful support and expressions of sympathy following Carmel's death on August 6, 2016. We will be forever grateful to Prof. J. Crown Dr. G. Gullo, Dr. D. O'Brien, Prof. J. Hegarty, St. Vincent's Private Hospital management and all Carmel's colleagues who so lovingly cared for her during her long illness. We also thank Quinn's Funeral Directors, the Radisson St. Helen's Hotel and those who so generously donated to the Irish Cancer Society in Carmel's memory. Most especially we wish to sincerely thank Ms. Karen Dempsey One Spirit Interfaith Minister who arranged and directed both the graveside ceremony and the subsequent celebration of Carmel's life. Mass has been offered for the intentions of all who supported Carmel and our family in so many ways during this sad time. The Month's Mind Mass for Carmel will be celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday September 10, 2016 in Strokestown Parish Church, Elphin Street, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon.
