O'CONNELL - The death has occurred of Ursula (née Daly), of Ballyweelin, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo formerly Kilmihil, Co. Clare. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her dear husband Jim, siblings Peter, Joe and Declan, Gertrude, Dorothy, Mary and her twin sister Rose. Much loved mother of Judy, Bobby, Emily, Evelyn, Petria and Susan. She will be sadly missed by her son and daughters, brother Ben, sons-in-law Aidan, Paul and David, adored grandchildren Robert, Maeve, Niall, Eva, James, Peter, Emma, Laura, Ben, Amelia, Daisy, George and Alice, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at Foley and McGowans Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo (F91YR62) on Monday 26th January 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Columbas Church, Rosses Point (F91X638) on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 12:00pm for Mass of The Resurrection followed by burial in Rosses Point Cemetery.
