BRISTOW John (Michael), (Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly Kingston, Ontario, Canada) September 25, 2015 (peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore after a year long struggle to regain health after surgery. Beloved husband of Sophie Kennedy, father of Adam, Cecily (O'Flaherty) and Caelan (Ward), grandfather of Ciaran, Aidan and Arvo. Michael is survived by his sisters Helen and Ann and loved by his many friends from his years of development work in Africa, the Caribbean and Central America and his time as biology professor at Queens University Kingston. A service will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 1.30 o'clock in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin.
