HOLMES, Hilary (nee Carton) (Formerly of Cliftonville, Ennis Road, Limerick and Dublin.) October 10, 2023 peacefully, in the loving care of Carrigoran Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Gordon. Dearly loved mother of Keith, Valerie (Hamill), Gordon and Melanie (Hassett), much-loved grandmother to Jessica, Daniel, Olivia, Callum, Megan, Isaac, Scarlett, Clementine and Cressida. Sadly missed by her loving sons-in-law, Dermot and Daragh, daughters-in-law Carina and Brette, brothers Joe and David (Carton), sisters Clare (Mathews) and Ethna (Cotter), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street (tomorrow) Friday (13th October) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, on Saturday (14th October) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery. Hilary’s Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.ourladyoftherosaryparishlimerick.ie/2021/01/​par​ish-webcam/ Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Carrigoran House.
