LUCAS, George Henry, (Gilltown, Donadea, late of Killeenmore), much loved husband of Rosemary, father of Victor and Gordon. Died peacefully on January 30, 2023 with his wife by his side, in the kind and gentle care of St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh. Inseparable companion-in-all-things-in-life for sixty one years, George will be so deeply missed by Rosemary, as he is by Victor and Gordon. Much regretted by his relatives and many dear friends. Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Prosperous (W91T62P) tomorrow (Thursday) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm with evening prayers at 7:30pm. A private family cremation will take place. A Service of Thanksgiving and a Celebration of George’s life will take place on Saturday, February 4, at 12.00 noon in St. Michael and All Angels Church, Millicent, Clane (W91NH27).
