PURDY - John (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) January 23, 2026. It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely and sudden death of my beloved husband and best friend, John. Loving father to Conor and Kian. Johns loss will be deeply felt by his wide circle of family, friends, and colleagues, built over his 63 years. John is predeceased by his parents Millie and Jack, his sister Jackie and brother Stephen. He will be very sadly missed by his wife Audrey, sons, their partners Sophia and Steffi, his brother Colin, sisters Jean and Barbara, brothers-in-law Michael, Pat and Fergal, sisters-in-law Debbie, Susannah, Tanya and Maura, nieces, nephews, and extended family. John will be reposing tomorrow Tuesday (January 27), from 5pm to 7pm in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday (January 28) at 10am in St. Patricks Church, Monkstown, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballycorus Road. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed online using the church webcam. Sympathy messages for Johns family may be left in the Condolence on RIP. Family flowers only, please.
