O'CONNELL John (Rathfarnham), August 11, 2014, (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his family; beloved husband of June and much loved father of Tim; loved and remembered always by his wife and son, grandson Richard, Irene, sister Sr. St. Anne (Peachie), nieces, nephews, the extended family, carers Esther and Priscilla, friends and good neighbours. Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass on Saturday (August 16) at 10.00 o'clock in Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.

O'CONNELL - John (late of Gortroe, Killarney and Knightstown, Valentia). On the Second Anniversary of John's death, we would like to thank all our extended family, friends, neighbours, Fexco Colleagues, ex-AIB colleagues and golfing friends who sympathised with us. We wish to extend our thanks to Fr. Niall Howard and O'Shea's Funeral Directors who guided us with kindness and consideration and a special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. John is sadly missed by his family and close friends. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
