GREENE (Kincora, Mill Road, Corbally, Limerick and formerly of Ennis, Co. Clare) - January 29, 2015, (peacefully), at Milford Care Centre, Des, (late Manager Mid-West Region E.S.B.), beloved husband of Mary and dearly loved father Mary, Anne, Declan and Roisin, father-in-law of the late Vincent MacNamara; sadly missed by his son-in-law Diarmuid, his beloved granddaughters Isobel, Julie, Iseult and Lola, sister Ita, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Rest in peace. Arriving at St. Munchin's College Chapel, Corbally this Sunday for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm followed by burial in Crecora Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

(First Anniversary, January 29) - Des's wife Mary and family wish to express sincere thanks to all of you who attended Des's funeral and offered your support in so many ways. Sincere thanks also to those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and offered condolences. We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the priests who concelebrated the funeral Mass and to Dr. David Boylan, the staff at University Hospital Limerick and Milford Hospice for their care. The support of extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues over the past year is much appreciated. Des is greatly missed by his family, grandchildren and many friends.May he rest in peace.
