THORNTON, – Gretchen (née Nichols) (Greystones), January 30th 2023, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of Wicklow Hospice; beloved wife and best friend for 62 years of the late Robin; wonderful and much loved mother of Gretchen, West, Jeanne and Simon, adored grandmother of Ciara, Stephen, Simon, Daniel, Olivia and Matthew and great-grandmother of Aisling and Jameson. Loved and remembered always by her family, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Carolyn, Valerie, Laura and Colm, sister Rhona, brother Richard, all the extended family and friends. Funeral Service on Wednesday (February 8) at 3pm in Christ Church, Delgany, afterwards to the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice.
