CAREY C.S.Sp., Fr. Brian C.S.Sp. (Kimmage Manor, late of Sandymount, Dublin) Missionary in Kenya, Ireland and the USA, October 11, 2019. Son of the late Molly (née Brown) and Joe Carey. Deeply regretted by his sister Eileen, brothers Brendan, Pat, Barry and Paul, sisters-in-law Anne, Elke, Mary and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, friends and Spiritan confrères. Predeceased by his brother Tony, brother-in-law Séamus, niece Deirdre, and grand-niece Elodie. Rest in Peace. Reposing tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon, at the Mission House, Kimmage Manor from 3.00 o'c. Prayers at 4.30 o'c. Removal on Thursday morning, (October 17), after Prayers at 10.30 o'c., to Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor for Funeral Mass at 11.00 o’c followed by burial at Dardistown Cemetery.

Fr. Brian was a former priest in Jacksonville​, Florida who we visited while on pilgrimage to Ireland. Spent a few hours with him recalling his time at our parish. Such a lovely priest with a great sense of humor. RIP, the Scobies
