O'SULLIVAN, Frank (Carrick- on-Suir, Co. Tipperary and Shankill Co. Dublin) (ex Garda Síochána) July 5, 2018, peacefully with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his much loved wife Geraldine (Ger) and brother Tadhg. Devoted and loving father to Kevin, Brian, Niall, Angela and Declan. Frank will be sadly missed by his sons and daughter, sisters Maura and Cait, brother Denis, daughters-in-law Mary, Kristi, Margo and Ruth, his adored grandchildren Keelin, Alice, Eoin, Declan, Doireann, Conor, Barry, Kieran, Adam, Laura, Shane and Fergal, his nieces, nephews, neighbours, former colleagues and many friends, especially in Woodbrook Golf Club. May Frank Rest in Peace. Reposing at his residence from 5 pm to 8 pm this (Friday) evening. Removal to St. Anne's Church, Shankill arriving for Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10 o'clock followed by burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
O'SULLIVAN Frank (Shankill, Dublin and formerly Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary) (Died July 5, 2018) - Kevin, Brian, Niall, Angela and Declan would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them following the loss of Frank. In particular, we would like to thank Dr. David Fennelly and all the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Blackrock Clinic for their wonderful care and kindness to Frank during his final illness and to Dr. Maria Bohane and all who cared for Frank over the years. To family members, neighbours, friends and all who attended at the house and the funeral, sent letters and Mass cards or posted on social media, we are extremely grateful. Special thanks to all of Dad's former colleagues and friends in An Garda Síochána for their comradeship and support. Woodbrook Golf Club had a special place in Frank's affections and we appreciate the support of the members and staff of Woodbrook and also of Dun Laoghaire Golf Club, especially the bowlers. Fr. Tom Nash has been a wonderful family friend for many years and we thank him for celebrating the funeral mass along with Fr. John O'Connor, P.P. Shankill Parish. We appreciate the sensitive and professional help of Fanagans Funeral Directors and special thanks to Margo for organising the liturgy and to all Frank's twelve grandchildren for their contribution.
