DOWNES, Leslie (Foxrock, Dublin 18) - December 5, 2011 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Sycamore Unit, Clonskeagh Hospital, beloved husband of Greta and loving father of Bill, Robert, Paula and Margaret; sadly missed by his wife and children, his brother Neil, sister-in-law Florence, nephews Eugene and David, his daughters-in-law Patricia and Fiona, son-in-law James, grandchildren Liam, Lucy, Ed, Tom, Rory, Ciara, Meadhbh and Conn, extended family, relatives and many friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at his home on Thursday evening (December 8) between 6.00 o'clock and 8.00 o'clock Funeral Mass on Friday morning (December 9) at 10.00 o'clock in Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock. Burial afterwards in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
DOWNES, Leslie (Foxrock, died December 5, 2011) - On the First Anniversary of Leslie's death, his wife Greta, children, Bill, Robert, Paula and Margaret would like to express our heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation to all our loving friends and neighbours who attended the funeral . We would also like to thank all those who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy and who supported us in our sad loss. Our thanks also to Fr. Derek, Fr. Paddy and Fr. Pat who assisted at the funeral Mass. A special Mass will be offered for your intentions.
