SCANLON, MAIRE

SCANLON, (née Rowan) Marie, Ballsbridge, Dublin and Berlin, (peacefully) at home on October 16, 2022. Beloved wife of Paddy, sister of Peg, Padraig, Sean, Francis, and the late Seamus, sister-in-law of Gaye, Tony, Alan and Veronica, aunt and grand-aunt to her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She will be sadly missed by us all. The family sends thanks to the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, The Hospice Foundation especially Mary Healy and Derville Shields and The Irish Cancer Society. Removal to St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount on Friday morning arriving at 9.50 am for Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if wished to The Irish Hospice Foundation and The Irish Cancer Society. Rest in Peace.
