BRENNAN (née McDonnell) (Irene) (Air Hill, Roscrea, formerly of Laburnum Park, Model Farm Road, Cork) - The Brennan family wish to thank most sincerely all those who helped and supported us during Irene's illness. Irene passed away peacefully on June 10, 2009 in her own home, and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to all who made that possible. We are especially grateful to the Milford Care Centre, the North Tipperary Hospice Homecare Team, and the Irish Cancer Society. To Dr Pauline De Feu, Nola, Terri, Noreen and Carrie we offer our heartfelt thanks. We would like to express our deep appreciation to the many friends and relatives who joined us at home and at the church, and all who continue to offer their support to Arthur and the family. It was a great comfort to receive so many cards and letters from well-wishers and sympathisers. We hope this goes some way to acknowledging them as time and numbers did not permit us to thank each of them individually. Finally, we thank Fr Tony Cahir and Fr Lorcan Kenny for imbuing the funeral ceremony with such a strong sense of Irene - her humour, her energy and her indomitable spirit.Beidh tú i gcónaí in ár gcroíthe.
