Ó CINNÉIDE, Seán (Salthill, Galway and formerly of Cluainte, Ballyferriter, Dingle, Co. Kerry and Harwell, Oxfordshire, UK) (Professor Emeritus, late of NUIG) - August 25th, 2009 (peacefully) under the attentive care of the staff of University College Hospital, Galway. Dearly beloved husband of Máire, father of Marie, late Brendan, Breda, John, Finbar and Donncha; predeceased by his brother Denis and sister Breda and survived by sisters Bernie, Máirín and Rita; father-in-law of Isabelle, Ulrike and Fiona; grandfather of Clara, Rachel, Sibéal, Aoibhe and Zoe. Very sadly missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway tomorrow (Saturday) from 4.30 with removal at 6.30 p.m. to Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
