MEADE, Dr. Aiden, (Mt. Merrion Dublin) - December 17, 2015 (peacefully) in Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey; beloved husband of the late Maura (née MacLoughlin). Dear father to Carmel, Romy, Brian, Joan, Olive and Ciarán; sadly missed by his brother Noel, grandchildren Neil, Lisa, Conor, Barry, Ailís, Eibhlín, Dónal, Shane, Eoin, Amy, Erin, and Laura, great-grandson Aidan, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. A special thank you to the Carmelite Sisters and staff of Our Lady's Manor for the wonderful care Aiden received in the last few years. Removal on Monday evening to the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Dear Dr. Meade you were the first person I ever saw! I was one of many babies you safely delivered in St. Michael's NH during that 1970 heatwave. I'm healthy and 6' 5" now so you must have done something right. Thank you! Ronan Scanlan.
