EGLESTON, Prof. Conor Vincent, FRCSI FRCSEd FFAEM (Eastham Road, Bettystown, Co. Meath and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Dublin), July 4, 2018 after a long illness faced with great courage and dignity, in the loving care of the wonderful staff and his colleagues at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband and father, deeply missed by his wife Elaine, children Niamh, Hugh and Kate, sister Deirdre, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, colleagues and all who knew him. Reposing at his Home from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock this (Thursday) evening. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock in the Star of the Sea Church Mornington, Co. Meath, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin arriving at approximately 1.15pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Palliative Care and Oncology Departments of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Conor faced death with great courage because he believed in the One who trampled down death by death, that he might grant life to all who die in Him. Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord. May his memory be eternal.
