McGARRY, formerly Raftery (née Rogan) Maureen (late of Griffith Avenue) - March 25, 2017, (peacefully), in her 97th year, in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Monica's Nursing Home, Belvedere Place, beloved wife of the late Peter Raftery and John McGarry and loving mother of Marie, Peter, Colman and the late baby Martin Raftery, pre-deceased by her sister Christine and brothers Patrick and Frank; sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, son-in-law Páid, daughters-in-law Marian and Bridgene, her cherished grand children and great-grandchildren, sister Bernadette, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Nellie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino on Thursday morning arriving at 9.50 o'clock for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
