SHIEL, Jack (Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly Old County Road, Crumlin) - 7th December 2023, peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Mary and brother of the recently deceased Frank. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children Fergus, Stephen, Morna and Roisín, daughters-in-law Amy and Louise, son-in-law Nick, his adored grandchildren Joanne and her husband David, Saoirse, Maebh, Niamh, Ella, Sophie, Orla, Crea, Will and Finlay, great-grandchildren Adam, Clara and Hannah, his sisters Betty and Peggy, brothers Fr. Pat, Anthony and Des, brother-in-law Dick, sisters-in-law Maeve, Shaun, Ann, Eileen and Breid, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours, fellow members at Clontarf Golf Club and his many friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand this (Monday) (11th December) with family in attendance from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday 12th December) at 11.30am in Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino. Funeral thereafter to Cruagh Cemetery, Rathfarnham. Jack’s Mass can be viewed live visiting the Marino Parish website. May he Rest in Peace
