FITZGERALD - August 29, 2017, (peacefully), in the care of the staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, late of Hermitage Grove Rathfarnham, Martin, beloved husband of Marianne, loving father to sons David and Mark, daughter Elaine, stepsons David, Paul and Carl; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sisters Máire, Sighle and Geraldine, brother-in-law Michael, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family and friends. May he Rest In Peace. Reposing at Larry Massey Funeral Home, Rathfarnham tomorrow (Thursday) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Divine Word, Marlay Grange, Rathfarnham, arriving for 10pm Mass. Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross crematorium. Family flowers only please.

On the first anniversary of Martin's death, Marianne and all the family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. A sincere thank you to kind neighbours and friends; those who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy; attended Mass and cremation; Fr. Jim Mulherin PP Marley Grange; Kevin Kelly who delivered a wonderful eulogy; members of the K Club for their guard of honour; Gerry Houlihan and work colleagues from DID Electrical. We will never forget everyone's kindness. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our most sincere gratitude. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
