BYRNE (Dalkey, and formerly of Rathgar), Albert (Bertie) - On this first anniversary of his death, Bertie's wife, Annette, his daughters Áine (O'Neill), Gerardine (Hackett), sons Albert, Tony and Colm, his sisters Phyllis and Hannah, brothers Kevin, Gerard and Jimmy, wish to thank everyone who supported us at the time of his passing and since. We were especially comforted by the Mass Cards, letters of support and personal calls we received and thank all who attended the funeral, the requiem Mass and burial. Special thanks to Dr. Levelle and to Dr. Karen Murphy and her team in the Oncology unit in St Vincent's Hospital for their kindness and dedication. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Blackrock Hospice whose care for Bertie, in his last weeks, helped to ease his suffering and gave us all great comfort. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
