CULLINANE Padraig February 13, 2017 (suddenly), (Knocklyon and formerly of Timoleague, West Cork). Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Mairead, Darragh and Anne-Marie, sons-in-law Noel and Mark and daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Hannah, Cillian, Oscar and Ronan, his sister Mary and brother Donal, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Sadly missed by his extended family, friends and colleagues. Reposing at the family home in Idrone Close, Knocklyon from 3.00pm today (Thursday). All welcome. Funeral to St. Colmcille's Church, Knocklyon tomorrow (Friday) for 11.00am Mass. Burial after in Bohernabreena Cemetery.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
CULLINANE, Padraig, Knocklyon, Dublin 16 and formerly of Timoleague, West Cork, died February 13, 2017 - On this First Anniversary of his passing, his wife Mary, daughters Mairéad and Anne-Marie, son Darragh, sons-in-law Noel and Mark, daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Hannah, Cillian, Oscar, Ronan and Isabelle, sister Mary and brother Donal, brother-in-law, Lawrence and sister-in-law, Anne and Padraig's extended family wish to express our grateful thanks to all who sympathised with us during the sad days of our great loss and those who supported us then, and throughout the months since. We thank our relatives, friends, neighbours in Knocklyon, all of Padraig's former colleagues in the Civil Service, members of Ballyboden St. Enda's GAA Club and Stackstown Golf Club, those who travelled long distances, visited the house, attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial. Thanks for the Masses, prayers, messages of sympathy for Padraig and us. Our deep appreciation to the concelebrants of the funeral Mass and the parish priest of Knocklyon, Fr. Martin and the Carmelite Community. We would especially like to thank Fr. Tom Sexton OSA, a lifelong friend for the wonderful way he reminded us of Padraig's life during the Mass. We would also like to thank Fr. Seamus Aherne who led the prayers for Padraig in the hospital and at home. To Ruth Cahill, who provided such beautiful music and to brothers-in-law, Mairtín and Joe who sang final farewell songs. Go raibh maith agaibh. Thanks to members of Ballyboden St. Enda's and Argideen Rangers GAA clubs who provided a guard of honour. To Massey's Funeral Directors (Rathfarnham), we appreciate your kind and professional service. Thanks to Ballyboden St. Enda's GAA Club and Musgraves for their service and support. We also wish to express our appreciation and thanks to all the medical staff at the Mater Private Hospital. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. A Mass has been offered for your intentions. We miss Padraig every day, he is always in our thoughts. His First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday February 11 at 12.30pm in the Church of St. Colmcille's, Knocklyon.
