MELODY - Castleknock, D15, - Suzanne and the family of the late John Melody wish to thank most sincerely all of you who sympathised with us over the sad loss of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. We thank the staff of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home for the loving care and attention they gave John. We thank all of you for the Mass cards, floral tributes, donations, messages, and letters of sympathy. Your presence, words of kindness, good will and graciousness are deeply appreciated by our family. We are grateful to Fr. Ryan of the Parish of St Columba, Iona Road, who celebrated John’s Funeral Mass. A special thank you to Cunningham’s Funeral Directors, who took care of John’s removal and burial in the most respectful and dignified way, the guidance they provided was invaluable. We thank Glasnevin Burials for their kindness and support. Because it’s impossible to thank each of you individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by you as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John’s Month's Mind will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Fanore, Co. Clare on the April 20, 2024 at 7pm.
